Rachele Mari-Zanoli nasce nel 1968 a Billens nella Svizzera francese da madre elvetica e padre italiano. Nel 1974 si trasferisce nel Ticino dove frequenta le scuole dell'obbligo. Dopo il liceo, all'età di diciassette anni, va a vivere a Zurigo dove studia all'Istituto Superiore per traduttori ed interpreti, implementando la conoscenza delle lingue inglese francese e tedesco. Lavora per diversi anni all'aeroporto di Zurigo per tre compagnie aeree americane. Nel 1993 nasce la prima figlia Selene e nel 1995 il secondogenito Diego. In quegli anni lavora come insegnante di italiano presso l'ufficio del lavoro di Zurigo. Inizia e completa lo studio di ingegneria di sistema e lavora per un lungo periodo in una delle principali banche svizzere, inizialmente in Svizzera e poi risiedendo di volta in volta in differenti nazioni. Dopo ventidue anni di migrazioni, fa seguito un soggiorno di tre anni in Spagna, a Madrid. Successivamente torna a vivere e lavorare nella Svizzera italiana, in qualità di manager nel settore bancario informatico. La pittura ed i colori hanno sempre fatto parte della sua vita, sin dai suoi primi ricordi. All'età di otto anni frequenta un atelier di pittura. Esperienza che suscita da subito un amore incondizionato per quest'arte, che si tradurrà nelle prime opere pittoriche. Dopo aver esperito il figurativo (per lo più nudi femminili) passa ad una pittura geometrica, lineare, grafica, infine giunge ad una pittura "Astratta e Concreta". Può sembrare un paradosso, ma si tratta di un'arte contraddistinta da piani e colori, scevra da simbolismi che allude alla ricerca di verità, lasciandosi guidare da intensi colori materici, che concretizzano l'astrattezza dell'idea. La materia entra con decisione nelle sue opere: corde, metalli, legni e gesso su tele. Dipinge esclusivamente all'esterno, a contatto con la natura. Sin dalle prime realizzazioni un intenso fil rouge caratterizza il suo operato. Ogni tela è un proseguimento di quella precedente, una ricerca ulteriore, un passo in avanti che attinge dal passato, pur non ripetendosi. È unica, è l'oltre. Rachele Mari-Zanoli vive la pittura non soltanto come ricerca interiore e mera rappresentazione. Ma soprattutto come intersoggettività. La sua peculiarità stilistica si nutre delle esperienze maturate nei paesi in cui ha vissuto ed è altresì arricchita dagli studi che sta attualmente conseguendo a Torino nell'ambito filosofico e da collaborazioni quali quella con il CERN (Centro Europeo per la Ricerca Nucleare) di Ginevra e workshop con i bambini. Dipingere è per Rachele Mari-Zanoli una grande gioia ed esperienza di vita, connotata da colori e materiali. Il sentimento come essenza della sua pittura.
Rachele Mari-Zanoli was born in 1968 in Billens / FR in the French part of Switzerland from a Swiss mother and an Italian father. In 1974 she moved to Ticino where she attended schools obligation. After high school, at the age of 17 years, she moved to Zurich where she studied at the Institute superior for translators and interpreters, deploying the knowledge of English French and German. She worked for several years at the Zurich airport for three American airlines. In 1993 her daughter Selene came to the world and in 1995, the second child Diego. She started and completed the study of engineering system and worked for a long time in one of the main Swiss private banks, initially as responsible for projects in Switzerland and then for international projects, whilst residing as expatriate in different countries. After twenty-two years of migrations, followed by a stay of three years in Spain, in Madrid she then moved back to live and work in the Italian Switzerland, as a responsible of a project management team in the banking computing sector. The painting and the colors have always been part of her life ever since her early memories. At the age of eight years she attended a painting workshop. Experience that raised an unconditional love for art, which resulted in the first pictorial works. After having completed the figurative (for the most female nudes) the artist passed to a painting geometric, linear, graphics, lastly deployed to a painting "abstract and concrete". It may seem paradoxical, but it is an art marked by plans and colors, devoid of symbolism that alludes to search for truth, guided by intense colors material, reflecting the abstract idea. The materials enter to be part her artworks: rope, metals, wood and plaster on canvas. Rachele Mari-Zanoli paints exclusively outdoor, in contact with nature. Since the first realizations an intense fil rouge characterizes her work. Every canvas is a continuation of the previous one, a further search, a step forward that draws from the past, while not repeated. It is unique, trascendental and it is further. Rachele Mari-Zanoli ist 1968 als Tochter einer Schweizer Mutter und eines italienischen Vaters in Billens (FR) zur Welt gekommen. Ab 1974 lebte sie im Tessin, wo sie das Gymnasium besuchte, bevor sie im Alter von siebzehn Jahren nach Zürich ging, um an der Hochschule für Übersetzer und Dolmetscher ihre Kenntnisse in englisch, französisch und deutsch auszubauen. 1993 wurde sie Mutter einer Tochter und 1995 eines Sohnes. Sie arbeitete als Lehrerin beim Arbeitsamt in Zürich und für danach eine Grossbank. Für ein Projekt dieser Bank zog sie mit ihrer Familie für drei nach Madrid, bevor sie – wiederum als Projektmanagerin im Bankenumfeld tätig – ins Tessin zurückkehrte.Die Malerei begleitete sie seit ihrem achten Lebensjahr, als sie ein Malatelier besuchte. Leidenschaft für Farbe war danach stets ein Teil ihres Lebens. Sie malte erst figürlich, gelangte dann aber zu geometrischen, graphisch inspirierten Werken mit intensiven Farben, die frei von Symbolik sind.Die verwendeten Materialen sind wichtig: Rachele Mari-Zanoli arbeitet mit Schnüren, Metall, Holz und Gips, welche sie auf Leinwand zusammen mit den Farben zu einem Werk synthetisiert. Meist arbeitet sie in der freien Natur. Jede Arbeit ist für sie die Weiterentwicklung der vorhergegangenen Werke und sie vermeidet Wiederholungen, obwohl ein Bezug zum bereits Geschaffenen durchaus beabsichtigt ist. Die Künstlerin lässt sich von den in verschiedenen Ländern gewonnen Eindrücken, der Arbeit mit Kindern und ihren derzeitigen philosophischen Studien in Turin inspirieren. Ihre Malerei wird von ihren Gefühlen geprägt und bestimmt.
Rachele Mari-Zanoli nacio en Billens, Suiza en 1968 de madre franco-suiza y padre italiano. En 1974 se trasladó a Ticino, donde asistió a sus estudios. Después de la secundaria, a la edad de diecisiete años, fue a vivir a Zurich, donde estudió en el Instituto Superior de traductores e intérpretes, la aplicación de los conocimientos de Inglés francés y alemán. Trabajó durante varios años en el aeropuerto de Zurich por tres líneas aéreas estadounidenses. En 1993, naciò su primera hija Selene y en 1995 el segundo hijo Diego. Durante esos años trabajó como profesor de italiano en la oficina de empleo en Zurich. Inicia y termina el estudio de la ingeniería de sistema y trabaja para una un largo tiempo en uno de los principale bancos suizos, inicialmente como chefe de proyecto en Suiza y luego en proyectos internacionales, con domicilio de vez en cuando en diferentes países. Después de veintidós años de la migración, seguido por una estancia de tres años en España, en Madrid y luego de regreso a trabajar y vivir en la Suiza italiana, como jefe de un equipo de gestores de proyectos de informatica bancaria. La pintura y el color han sido siempre parte de su vida, desde sus primeros recuerdos. A l a edad de ocho años asistió a un taller de pintura. Experiencia que le inspira un amor incondicional e inmediato de este arte, y que dará lugar a la primeras pinturas. Una vez completada la fase de la pintura figurativa (en su mayoría desnudos de mujeres) va a una pintura geométrica, lineal, gráfica, llega a una pintura "abstracta y concreta ". Puede parecer paradójico, pero es un arte que se caracteriza por las superficies y colores, carente de simbolismo, que alude a la búsqueda de la verdad, guiados por la materia colores intensos, que concretar la idea abstracta. La materialidad entrará con decisión en sus obras: cuerda, metal, madera y yeso sobre lienzo. Pinta sólo el exterior, en contacto con la naturaleza. Ja desde su primeras realizaciones hay un hilo conductor fuerte que caracteriza y rende incpnfundible su obra. Cada cuadro se procede a la anterior, más investigación, un paso que se nutre de los últimos, mientras no repetir. Es único, ha terminado. Rachele Mari-Zanoli vive su vida pintando no sólo como mera representación y examen de conciencia. Pero sobre todo, como intersubjetividad. Sus peculiaridades estilísticas se alimentan de las experiencias en los países donde vivió y se ve enriquecida por los estudios post universitarios en Turín y actualmente está completando en filosofia, y con la collaboracion con el CERN de Geneva y por los talleres con los niños.
